How Carepath can help your employees or members
What is one of the best ways you can show your employees you care? By offering them access to a trusted navigator when they need it most.
Whether it’s a cancer diagnosis, a chronic disease, a mental health challenge or support for their aging parents, people are quickly overwhelmed when a jarring medical condition becomes their reality. Equally overwhelming is when their spouse or children face a diagnosis. Your employees become distracted at work, their teams can be affected, and they can feel a sense of isolation in their diagnosis. They need support that’s immediately accessible and that they can connect with anonymously so that they’re in control of how and when to share the news at work.
Thankfully, Carepath has been helping to guide Canadians through the health care system for over 15 years. Our team of experienced virtual nurse case managers and clinicians have helped hundreds of clients navigate the health system with confidence.

A Tailored, Personalized Experience
When your employees connect with a Carepath nurse case manager or clinician, they are assigned to a clinician serving as their single point of contact. They can access insights and advice not only about treatment plans but practicalities like support groups and patient services.
Support is personalized to each individual journey, backed by the experience of expert professionals with the knowledge and connections to help employees who are encountering one of the most challenging times of their lives.
Each of our programs is available on a standalone basis or in combination. When employees are ready to navigate the journey back to life after illness and possibly return to the workplace, we’re able to provide that guidance too.
Our support is confidential and unlimited
For all of our programs, our first step is an employee consultation, where we get to know the specifics of each client’s concern or diagnosis, as well as their goals and questions.
From there, we tailor a support plan to their specific needs and schedule regular check-ins.
Whether they only need a couple of consultations to figure out how to find community services for an aging parent, or if they’re at the start of a long cancer journey, our clinicians will be in touch for as long as they need us.
We always work with existing care teams and see ourselves as a partner in the process. Our support is the same for immediate family members, and our clients have 24/7 access to online tools.
